Senior DevOps Engineer/Lead

At least 5-8 years of experience in IT industry comprising of build release management, software configuration, design, development and cloud implementation at Architecture Level.

• Should have skill in designing, deploying and operating highly available, scalable and fault tolerant systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS) /Azure
• Should have in depth understanding of AWS architecture, it’s components, databases, costing mechanism, disaster recovery.
• Should be highly skilled in deployment, data security, Risk Management, Incident Management and troubleshooting of the applications using AWS services.
• Should be experienced in implementing Organization DevOps strategy in various operating environments of Linux and windows servers along with cloud strategies of Amazon Web Services.
• Should have experience in deploying applications on to their respective environments using Elastic Beanstalk.
• Should have experience with event-driven and scheduled AWS Lambda functions to trigger various AWS resources.
• Should have working knowledge on various operating systems like Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows, MAC.
• Should have high working qualities with good interpersonal skills, high motivation, fast learner, good team player and very proactive in problem solving.
• Should have knowledge on various AWS Services which includes EC2, S3, ELB, Auto scaling Groups, Glacier, EBS, Elastic Beanstalk, Cloud Formation, Cloud Front, RDS, VPC, Route 53, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, IAM, SNS, SQS, ElastiCache, RabbitMQ and Lambda.
• Should have a knowledge on Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI. Knowledge on Python will be an added advantage
• Should have Production support knowledge on environment including Linux, IIS, Tomcat and Windows Servers.
• Should have basic Knowledge of SQL database Administration
• Should have worked on Server Automation tool such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Should have worked on monitoring tool such as Nagios, Grafana with Prometheus and ELK
• Nice to have experience working with container tools Docker
• Nice to have experience working on container orchestration tool Kubernetes
• Should have worked on creating an automation CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins for Microservices.
• Should have sound experience in client technical escalation handling.
• Should have strong interpersonal, Communication and team management skill.
• Strong passion for programming and automation using modern tooling/languages
• SRE Exposure, Reliability insights
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good to have Admin experience on APM tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc. creating dashboards using above tools or from Sumo Logic or Splunk
• Hands on experience of creating dashboards in Sumo Logic or Splunk
